  48. The SoundWave97-software must not be modified in any way! Any changes in the delivered 
  49. files file are strictly forbidden.

  51. The demo-version should be unzipped into any temporary directory for installation.

  53. The Software must not be sold without the written permission of the VAROsoft GbR.

  55. Most important, the SoundWave97-package can be distributed for free on the internet
  56. without any changes on the SoundWave97-files!

  58. The full-version of SoundWave97 is NO ShareWare and NO DEMO-version and must not be 
  59. given to anyone who has not bought this software!

  61. Any violation of the above terms will result in juridical steps.

  63. If you receive the message "!!! This is not the Original-Version of SoundWave97 !!!",
  64. someone has modified you version of SoundWave97. Please inform us to receive a 
  65. correct and unmodified version of SoundWave97.

  67. Installation of SoundWave97 Demo-version:
  68. =========================================

  70. - start Windows95 or Windows NT V. 4.0 or higher
  71. - create a temporary directory
  72. - extract the packed SoudnWave97-file with any unZIPping program
  73.   into the new directory
  74. - start SETUP.EXE and follow the instructions on the screen!
  75.  
  76. Known bugs and limitations:
  77. ===========================

  79. - when editing a WAV-file in HDedit-mode, you may be unable to open the 
  80.   WAV-File in certain other programs. in this case, please reopen and save
  81.   the file in NON-HDedit-mode.
  82.  
  83. - There may be a sound-distiorion when playing sounds while using the "Track playing
  84.   position in view"-option. If this problem occurs, please try to change the "Timeslice"-
  85.   setting in the "Advanced Options" dialog. Alternatively, try to disable the
  86.   "Use automatic PCU-bus retries"- option of you graphic-card in the control panel.
  87.   You may also set the "trace playingpos" option to "draw line".

  89. - the AutoPlay-funtion in the File-Open dialog does not support WAV-Files bigger
  90.   than 5MB.

  93. Registering SoundWave97
  94. =============================================================================
  95. If you are using the Demo/ShareWare-version of SoundWave97, you should 
  96. upgrade to the full-version as soon as possible to get all the features!

  98. To register your copy of SoundWave97 and receive you own SoundWave97- CDROM,
  99. please fill in your adress and specify how to pay. Now you should press
  100. the "Register" button and print or send the registration form 
  101. to us (by mail, email or fax).
